In the Book of Amos, we find God’s covenant people (Israel) in observance of feast days and greatly anticipating Christ’s return. But soon we uncover that their conduct did not match their Calling. God is not only concerned with our desire for these future events to unfold, but more concerned about the righteousness we are displaying while we await them.
