In this split sermon Rich Schultz reminds us that God is in charge of everything and that he is working in our lives to prepare us to fulfill his purpose in calling us now. He goes through two accounts of how Jesus prepared his disciples for the work he gave them to do. In one of these accounts he tells them to bring swords with them, but when Peter actually uses his Jesus corrects him gelling him that we cannot put our trust in physical solutions but must rely on God to equip us with spiritual tools to take us through the future trials that will be coming at the end of human governments ruling this earth.
