The Bible is filled with examples that God has preserved for our admonition Even those we might not hear or read much about. There are Biblical examples that are even obscure that we might learn from 1 Cor. 10:11 says “ Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come. The life of Lydia is recorded for our example. Although Lydia is only mentioned in 3 verses in Acts, We can learn a lot from her. She was truly inspiring, dedicated, and patient. With an attitude of lifelong service.
May we look at her example of serving, and continuous prayer, as encouragement, teaching, and anticipation of a better future world. May we use Lydia’s’ example to better serve God and each other.
