God considers His children to be more precious than gold since He has invested a great deal in them through the gift of His Holy Spirit. They also have received His Word of truth which is as valuable as 24 karat gold.

Ellis La Ravia most recently served the United Church of God congregations in Tucson and Sierra Vista, Arizona, along with El Paso, Texas. Before his retirement from the Church, he served as pastor for several congregations in the United States.
