A look into the true historical account of Ezra and Nehemiah in bringing Judea back to Israel. It is also an allegory of what is ahead for God's people as they are brought into the Millennium.

Sermon Notes

We're coming into a Fall Festival season, a time of renewal and restoration and the scriptures are our guide.

Neh. 8:

This is a true historical account of Ezra and Nehemiah bringing Judea back to Israel.  It is also an allegory of what is ahead and God's people are brought into the millennium.

These are people that have been separated from their land for decades.  Now you have a people coming together reinstituting a nation.

The people were receptive to the Book of the Law and showed reverence.

Neh. 8:9 → The joy of the Lord is our strength.

Nehemiah the governor and Ezra the priest were teaching people God’s word. Can you imagine that happening today? The provincial government was on board as they haven’t been before. The first people in multiple generations were keeping the Feast for the first time.

In the Kingdom, we’ll be able to teach again without the influence of the world today.

Hab. 3:16

I am sorry that you and your family experienced the stress of being robbed. I am glad you got your Bible back, and I also hope that good will come out of that experience, maybe it was the first time that person came to know about the Bible or hold one in their hands to look through, could have been their first contact with God. I hope that contact with it stays in the back of their mind, and a flicker of light grows and they hear God's invitation and change their life to the right path. I, too, hope that one day the Bible will be looked upon as the truly wonderful gift that it is. Thank you
