Do we make excuses for ourselves when it comes to our spiritual lives or even our physical lives? Or do we do what we need to do? Are we growing in grace and in knowledge, or are we sitting around waiting for that propitious moment? Or worse, are we pretending to be changing, pretending to be putting on Christ, all the while we are not bearing the fruits we need to in order to be part of God's family. Here's a lesson from a great Olympic champion we can learn from.
