The story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego used to frame a message on simple and direct faith.
We can confuse issues with excuses and human reasoning, but we are learning the law of God, and we believe we know what to do. Our character is built over time by obeying God in the little choices we make. We become prepared and to obey Him when a trial comes our way. It is good to maintain supportive friends and fellowships, but ultimately, we all stand alone. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego were willing to obey God to the death. They did the right thing and put themselves in God's hands.
