Speaker: Fred Crow
When God gives a command, He expects us to obey Him. When we reason within ourselves that OUR way would be better, we may have reasoned that God will understand. When we have such reasoning we have ceased walking with God with humility. Walking with God with humility is a requirement for all mankind: In Micah 6:8 we're told of the governing requirement: "...to do justice, to love mercy, and walk humbly with your God." When we step away from humility, WE end up deciding if and/or how to obey God, with seriously undesired consequences.
