God is not only inviting us to join His family, but is preparing us to be leaders in His kingdom. It is vital that we following the instructions given to the physical kings and priests of Israel, who were to prepare their hearts in observing and teaching the law. The example of Jesus Christ encourages us to serve with compassion and honesty.

Doug Wendt

Doug Wendt is a 1977 graduate of Ambassador College with a BS in Physical Education. His career included work as an electrician and General Contractor. Doug was ordained into the ministry in 2013 and  previously served congregations in Orlando, Jacksonville and Ocala, Florida. He now pastors the United Church of God congregations in St Petersburg and Tampa, Florida.
