During Paul's imprisonment in Rome, he wrote a number of epistles. In his letter to the Ephesian church he discussed the need for Christians to wear the full armor of God. He likened elements of the Roman armor to God's truth, righteousness, the gospel, faith, salvation and living by every word of God. Perhaps the most important aspect is to remain in continual contact with our commander, Jesus Christ.

David Dobson pastors United Church of God congregations in Anchorage and Soldotna, Alaska. He and his wife Denise are both graduates of Ambassador College, Big Sandy, Texas. They have three grown children, two grandsons and one granddaughter. Denise has worked as an elementary school teacher and a family law firm office manager. David was ordained into the ministry in 1978. He also serves as the Philippines international senior pastor.
