As Christians, we need to take to heart Christ’s words, His teaching in Matthew 5-7, known as the Sermon on the Mount. Here we find instructions, words from the Word of God, and the foundation upon which to build our spiritual house, our spiritual temple. Today we will continue Christ’s foundational teaching and we will talk about two very important topics – the godly and proper way to give to others and the godly and proper way to pray.

Mark graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Theology major, from Ambassador College, Pasadena, CA in 1978.  He married Barbara Lemke in October of 1978 and they have two grown children, Jaime and Matthew.  Mark was ordained in 1985 and hired into the full-time ministry in 1989.  Mark is the coordinator for United’s Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Services and his wife, Barbara, is an interpreter for the Deaf.
