The Holy Spirit is our spiritual protection. Physical things deteriorate and corrode, they need protection from the elements of the earth. Christians need spiritual protection from the elements of this world: physical weaknesses, spiritual principalities, and influences of this world. The Holy Spirit is Christ and the Father living in us. To maintain this relationship with the Father and Christ requires a responsive and repentant attitude (John 14:23).
