When challenges come we need to take our values with us. Prayer is our life’s blood. Have we ever overheard someone while they are praying?
Jesus taught us how to pray and He gave us models on what to say when we do pray.
One of the great prayers in the Bible is in Ephesians, Paul’s instruction, on how to grow in grace and knowledge, written from prison.
(Ephesians 1:15 KJV) Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, (Ephesians 1:16 KJV) Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; (Ephesians 1:17 KJV) That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
(Ephesians 1:18 KJV) The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
Robin Webber was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1951, but has lived most of his life in California. He has been a part of the Church of God community since 1963. He attended Ambassador College in Pasadena from 1969-1973. He majored in theology and history.
Mr. Webber’s interest remains in the study of history, socio-economics and literature. Over the years, he has offered his services to museums as a docent to share his enthusiasm and passions regarding these areas of expertise.
