A close relationship with Jesus Christ will generate persecution similar that to which He experienced. End-time prophecies foretell increasing stress upon all who desire to follow and obey God. Only those who faithfully endure to their end will be saved. The faith of saints will be severely tested between now and the First Resurrection. However, the blessed reward of eternal life in the Kingdom of God eclipses any trial that can be experienced in this life.
