Psalms 28:1 says the righteous are bold as lions. What is boldness? The idea of boldness often creates a sense of angst and reasoning that boldness is almost rude or manifests intolerance. However, the Greek term translated bold, boldly or boldness means “candor in the face of opposition.” Boldness does not adjust the presentation to avoid a negative response. As disciples of Christ, we should be bold in speaking, living, and defending our faith.
