Human beings created in the image of God are given godlike gifts which separate us from the animal kingdom. Speech, language, self-awareness, self-reflection, imagination and creativity are just some of those gifts. Two important and priceless gifts—conscience and God’s holy spirit—allow us to achieve a spiritual level and morality no animal can attain. What is conscience? How does it differ from the holy spirit? God’s holy spirit we do not train, but it is our responsibility to educate and maintain a good conscience. With God as Lord of your conscience, always obey your conscience!
