In Mark 9:17 a man came to Jesus asking Jesus if he could help his son since the disciples were unable to do so . Jesus said to him "if you believe all things are possible." The man answered with tears saying "Lord, I believe; help you my unbelief." After the healing the disciples asked why they were not able to help the boy. Jesus said this strong of a demon comes out only with prayer and fasting. In this sermon Mr. Smith shows us that like the disciples, we can fall short at times and that the key to success as disciples of Jesus is to develop humility in our lives and as shown by the father in the above example, when we are humble, God will work things out in our lives.
