The biblical phrase "The Lord's Supper" has become a foundational doctrine within branches of Protestant Christianity. And yet, oddly enough, the phrase only occurs in one single verse in the entire New Testament scriptures. We will examine the context of this phrase and its verse as well as the context of the bread and wine ceremony itself as it is described in the four Gospel accounts.
