"Strike the Shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered..." This prophecy is a perfect starting point to consider some of the significant relationships between the Father and His Son, and between the Messiah and His disciples. Christ Himself quoted this on the night of Passover, and from this we can learn much about Him, His ministry, His mission, and His love for His disciples.
