Zechariah was inspired to write of the Messiah who was to come, "...For behold, I am bringing forth My Servant the BRANCH" (Zech. 3:8). In this sermon we consider some of the Old Testament prophecies of the Messiah as the Servant of God, and see in the New Testament the fulfillment. Jesus said of Himself that He did not come to be served, but to serve, and some of the greatest blessings we have come to us through the things Jesus did as the Servant, the BRANCH. His greatest act of service was fulfilled as He gave His life for those He loves.
