In this sermon we consider the prophecy that the Messiah would be a Man. Zech. 6:12 is the key verse that we build on today: "Behold, the Man whose name is the BRANCH!" Again, we look at OT prophecies and the fulfillment of them in the NT. The Messiah was to be born into the human family. He was to have God as His Father. There was a great purpose for Him to be born as a mortal man. There were things He accomplished as a Man that He would not have been able to do otherwise. His human experience helps us now. And, as a Man He needed some of the same things we need to make our spiritual lives complete. "Behold, the Man whose name is the BRANCH!"
