Isaiah was inspired to write prophetically of the Messiah, "In that day the Branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious..." (Isa. 4:2). In this split-sermon we consider this fourth aspect of the "Branch" prophecies--King, Servant, Man, and now Lord. We'll focus today on evidence in Scripture of Christ in the role of Lord while He lived on the earth among His family and disciples. From the time of His conception, through the events of His ministry, and at the time of His trial and crucifixion He was "God with us," as Isaiah prophesied, "the Branch of the Lord."
Welcome! Here in Olympia and Tacoma, Washington, God has called two wonderful congregations of His children to fellowship together each Sabbath. It is a blessing for me and my wife Nancy to serve them, and to serve alongside them. Perhaps we’ll be blessed one day soon with your fellowship as well. (Click on name to read more.)
