The death of an animal being sacrificed was quick and humane, generally as painless as possible. Jesus was our sacrifice, so why did He have to suffer as well?

As we continue on this incredible journey toward the Kingdom, the magnitude of Jesus' sacrifice should become clearer, the love of God more distinct. Being human, we've so much yet to learn.     Good evening, thank you for this sermon. Each and every year I am given a better understanding of the Passover. But this is the very first time I have ever heard what Jesus went through explained the way you did it. Not to say it hasn't been explained that way before, just my ears and heart hearing it this way. Never before has a sermon made my heart hurt the way your sermon did. Intellectually we understand but this went beyond that. straight to my heart. I thank our Heavenly Father for giving you the wisdom , understanding and knowledge to present this message to us.
