Discription of the most comprehensive law in the Ten Commandments. That was the 10th. one of coveting. Coveting has its source in desire, want, greed and lust. This one commandment is broken very easily and may ruin one's life easily through wrong desire. Coveting leads to broken marriages, death, loss of family and a whole host of things. We should not desire anything that is our neighbor's. David committed adultery with Bathsheba and killed her husband as a result of wrong desire. This desire emanates from our thinking. The more we think on something the harder it is to stop. Ultimately it will lead to sin. Coveting material wealth does not make for a good life. Those who covet will not be in the Kingdom of God (Ephesians 5:5)
