Split Sermon: The Power of Quitting ~ The account of the woman brought before Jesus Christ as recorded in John 8:1-11 shows a contrast between the Old Testament and the New Testament in how the act of sin is dealt with. When Jesus told the woman in vs. 11, “Go and sin no more”, He was expressing His confidence that she had the ability to choose to quit sinning, and to follow up on that choice. Starting with the "basics" of what sin is and its consequences (familiar topics to most hearers of the message), the sermon then moves into three principles that can help us in our spiritual walk to "go and sin no more."
Welcome! Here in Olympia and Tacoma, Washington, God has called two wonderful congregations of His children to fellowship together each Sabbath. It is a blessing for me and my wife Nancy to serve them, and to serve alongside them. Perhaps we’ll be blessed one day soon with your fellowship as well. (Click on name to read more.)
