Receptivity and response cultivate a responsible creation. You can't give what cannot be received. We must show a profit or an increase or we are an unprofitable servant. God must see enough of himself reflected back or else we are an unprofitable servant. Matthew 22:14, "For many are called, but few are chosen." The many who are called but not chosen were not open to receive the calling.

Rick Beam was born and grew up in northeast Mississippi.  He graduated from Ambassador College Big Sandy, Texas, in 1972, and was ordained into the ministry in 1975.  Since 1978, he has pastored congregations in the south, west and midwest.  He currently pastors congregations in Rome, (Georgia), Gadsden (Alabama) and Chattanooga (Tennessee). He resides with his wife, Angela, in Rome.
