Our understanding of the resurrections is fundamental to our understanding of Jesus Christ, His Church, and His plan for every human being since the beginning of mankind. Yet there is an order in which all the dead will be resurrected. Christ was the first to be resurrected to eternal life, but all who have lived will be resurrected in a certain order. Each resurrection is different and unique. Each has its own characteristics. As we examine each of the three resurrections we will note the theme running throughout that the resurrections reveal God’s mercy to mankind.

Hi Randy, just gone through this message again. This year I lost another sister and I had started to wonder whether my love for her was deep enough because my grief didn't feel the same as the last time I lost another sister, six years ago. I now realise that my understanding of the hope I have in Christ, that our great God in His mercy has given me, has made me grieve differently; this time with the hope that I will see both of them again, and I will. Thank you for the clarification of the three resurrections and also that it will be their first chance. I did use the saying, "they will get a second chance", but no more. That was also wonderful and exciting to hear. Please continue to pass on the deeper understanding of God's Word to us.

Hello Debra I am so sorry to hear of the loses that you have had with regard to your sisters. However, we do have the encouragement of God's Word that helps us through our grief. We know the certainty of the resurrections as revealed in Bible and we know the certainty of God's love for all mankind. We can allow these truths to fortify us during these challenging times.
