Every time Satan tried to tempt Jesus Christ, He responded with memorized scripture. After spending some extended time practicing daily scripture memorization, I’d like to share some of the unexpected benefits I have encountered.

Great sermonette today. I always thought I can't memorize things anymore, but after listening to you talk about this ability, now I believe I can, and am going to try. You hit the nail on the head: It is a slow process, not impossible. I am going to use visualization too. I remember when going to Niagara College in Welland, Ontario to study to be a Medical Dicta-Typist, to memorize the medical terminology, I remember for the word "myo" (muscle), I thought Myo-man. I never forgot it! ha, ha. You did a great job and have encouraged me to practice memorizing. As you mentioned, also good for our brain cells!

Very good sermonette, thank you Clint. The two verses I have been meditating on this week are I kings 19:11-12 ( due to the noise out there) and Pro 15:1. Both helped and saved me some unnecessary hassle. Cheers Paul
