Putting leaven out and unleavened bread “in” for the Feast of Unleavened Bread has great spiritual meaning for us. But, there is more to the Feast than just eating unleavened bread that we can be aware of and contemplate so that we understand what God intended for this first “holy time” of His calendar year.
Rick Shabi was ordained an elder in 2000, and relocated to northern Florida in mid-2004. He attended Ambassador College and graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Business, with a major in Accounting. After enjoying a rewarding career in corporate and local hospital administration, and the ownership and management of a regional healthcare consulting and specialty firm, he became a pastor in January 2011. Rick and his wife Deborah serve in the Savannah, Georgia; Jacksonville, Ocala and Orlando, Florida UCG congregations.
