A lot of physical preparation goes into the observance of the Days of Unleavened Bread. We put the leaven out before the days begin, and we are commanded to eat unleavened bread for seven days. We often discuss the meaning of eating unleavened bread, but there is more to this festival than just eating ULB for seven days. What can we learn from the Bible about how to have an even more meaningful holyday season?
Rick Shabi was ordained an elder in 2000, and relocated to northern Florida in mid-2004. He attended Ambassador College and graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Business, with a major in Accounting. After enjoying a rewarding career in corporate and local hospital administration, and the ownership and management of a regional healthcare consulting and specialty firm, he became a pastor in January 2011. Rick and his wife Deborah serve in the Savannah, Georgia; Jacksonville, Ocala and Orlando, Florida UCG congregations.
