During the Days of Unleavened Bread, we understand the symbolism of leaven as a type of sin and the need to remove it from our lives. No one is righteous. We all sin. Physically, we cannot perfectly remove all leaven from our environment. Spiritually, we cannot remove all sin from our lives. We need to be saved. Ultimately, it is the power of God's spirit, through Jesus Christ, by which we will be truly deleavened and elevated to a state of true righteousness.
