As we go through our self-examination process leading up to Passover, there are different areas we can focus on. If we are truly committed to following Jesus Christ, we must be prepared to suffer at times because we are different. Jesus suffered for us and set the example. Are we following it?

Matthew McDonald is an elder with the United Church of God serving in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He has been part of the Church of God community his entire life. Matthew and his wife Betsy currently reside in McKinney and were married in 1995. They have two children, Avery and Joah.
