Many people and religions have different ideas about what “grace” means and whether it “requires” anything from the recipient. In this sermon, we will see what the Greek “charis” meant to people in early New Testament times, what grace really encompassed, and how they knew they must respond.
Rick Shabi was ordained an elder in 2000, and relocated to northern Florida in mid-2004. He attended Ambassador College and graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Business, with a major in Accounting. After enjoying a rewarding career in corporate and local hospital administration, and the ownership and management of a regional healthcare consulting and specialty firm, he became a pastor in January 2011.
