Have you ever asked yourself what does God think of me? In this sermon we note how God forms His opinion of us. Furthermore, we know that God is always aware of His children and His thoughts are ever toward us. There is nothing hidden from God. He comes to know us through our relationship with Him and our neighbors. The two great commandments state that we are to love God with all our hear mind and soul; and the second is like unto the first we are to love others as we love ourselves. From this we see that we must forgive ourselves and others in order to walk with God. We must not become victims of the green eyed monster as noted by James. God wants to be our friend and constant companion at all times.

Before his retirement in 2021, Dr. Donald Ward pastored churches in Texas and Louisiana, and taught at Ambassador Bible College in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has also served as chairman of the Council of Elders of the United Church of God. He holds a BS degree; a BA in theology; a MS degree; a doctor’s degree in education from East Texas State University; and has completed 18 hours of graduate theology from SMU.
