This evening we conclude the 7 Days of Unleavened Bread this year and it is my prayer that it was a productive and fulfilling season. What lesson can these days teach us if we did indeed examine ourselves and observe them with sincerity and truth? The best way I can answer this question is for us to look at the relationship between Abraham and Lot. You may not realize it, but their relationship can tell us a lot about ourselves and the meaning of these days of unleavening. God called Abram out of a pagan environment and wanted him to start a new life with his wife and possessions. He gave some wonderful promises to Abram including national blessings and the ultimate blessing of Jesus Christ being born as a descendent, who would bless all the families of the earth.  Within the story of Abram and Lot is a sub-plot.
