During this current pandemic, people talk about hope: hope for the virus to be over or hope for life to return to normal. But Christians have one hope (Eph 4:1-6) and are told to abide in hope (1Cor 13:13). There is the hope of salvation and resurrection. We should be cultivating that one hope because it is the anchor of our soul (Heb 6:19). This hope should give us strength as we hope to be glorified and become a brother of Christ (Rom 8:28-30). Also, there are enemies of hope: doubt, one of Satan’s favorite tools (Gen 3:1-5), and distractions (Matt 13:22). Focus on hope and the one hope of the resurrection and to be glorified with Christ.
