INTRO:   As Christians, we sometimes talk about what we might be doing in the future in the Kingdom of God.

Luke 19:12-16.

V17.  So, we see one servant receives 10 Minas, the next one 5 minas, and the last one is given one Mina. It is significant that each one who received a reward received authority over cities.  And indeed, in the Millennium of Christ’s rule over this earth, there are going to be a LOT of Cities that will need leadership from the Children of God (those made spirit at the resurrection).  “What will be the first things you will do in your 10 cities or 5 cities, or whatever number you receive? People all over the earth will need attention as the Great Tribulation comes to an end. 

SPS:  Are you planning ahead now, to serve in God’s Kingdom?

BODY:  I thought it might be wise for me to lay out some direction for myself in terms of what things I think will be most urgent?

Isa. 10:20-21.  God says there will be a remnant of Jacob that returns to him. Jer. 3:17-19.  Israel and Judah will return to the land of Israel, and this time, they won’t have to be removed for disobedience, but will remain in the land and not turn away from their God.  Why?  Because the Holy Spirit will become available to as many as want to have it.

Isa. 2:2-3.  Two important things to note here in reference to the Millennium.  First, God’s House, His Temple, will be established on the mountain, and all nations shall flow to it. God will “teach us [all those alive] of His ways”  How will He do that?  I suspect, that teaching will emanate from Jerusalem and go out to the rest of the world, primarily, by you and me, the Children of God--Spirit beings at that time. 

There will need to be clean up of the earth on a massive scale. Cleanup of devastated areas, may continue for a long time. These Israelites will need to understand what is happening to them, a basic understanding of what the Bible says and what Jesus Christ’s reign on this earth is all about, not to mention their part in it.  Isa. 30:20-21.

How will you or I convince these people that they will really want to move up to Jerusalem or Palestine?

Deut. 16:11, 14.  Notice the word “Stranger” here.  We are to bring the stranger up to the feast with us. 

Now, how much have you thought about what you may be doing very early during the Millennium? 

– the enormous complexities of bringing this world into a knowledge of the truth and bringing them successfully into the Millennial rule of Jesus Christ, and leading them toward the calling that the Father will be offering to them.

CONCLUSION:  So, what have we learned from all this?  This Feast is to help us visualize the coming Kingdom, and to be inspired to want to be there and to learn all we can so we can pass it on to others.  Hopefully, that we should each be mentally
