What was God's purpose of imposing these plagues upon Egypt and what can we learn from them? Randy Stiver explains that each plague was directly linked to the pagan Egyptian gods who God debased to prove that only He is the true God with all others being a lie. It is only through the true God that salvation is possible through the process of repentance. Billions of people have walked in darkness, even today. Only when we are called are we brought out of that darkness and into God's light and His way of life where we understand that following God's way brings us blessings, while otherwise can bring curses and plagues, or troubles.
