In the Garden of Eden there was a snake - there with God’s permission. The snake then convinced Adam and Eve to eat of the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil - and in so doing so - they became naked and vulnerable. We also have to learn to deal with the snakes we have. To learn we are naked, to learn we are vulnerable and to know what our snake is -is to learn and know ourselves better. So then we can conquer our snake with God’s help, we can become the true people that God means for us to be. And we have to learn to trust God, that He allows this to happen, for us to become vulnerable, to learn, to grow and that He is there for us.
