Atonement

October 12, 2024

Atonement is the process of removing obstacles in our relationship with God. The Day of Atonement, a holy day during the Fall Festival season, symbolizes a day in the future when Satan will be chained and imprisoned. Right now, the process of atonement requires humility and honesty, and can use the tool of fasting to draw closer to God.

Regarding the feasts of the Lord, it is very instructive to study the history of the first 30 years of the Christian Church recorded in Scripture. What Holy Days did they keep? It's surprising how many of "the feasts of the Lord" are found in the book of Acts.

Few people are aware of the seven festivals God reveals in the Bible. Even fewer are aware that they center around and teach us a great deal about Jesus Christ and His role in God's plan for all mankind.

Every American knows there is one big famous crack in the American icon of the Liberty Bell of Philadelphia, but what other ageless story does this instrument so associated with freedom tell us that still rings true...
