"...knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing" (James 1:3-4).

Patience, produced by the testing of our faith, leads us ever closer to perfection. It's a quality that Paul lists as part of the fruit of the Spirit—necessary for all Christians to develop in their walk with their Creator.
