At my first Sabbath service in God's Church, I was told by a member leading the congregation that day that we are here to learn God's way so we can teach it in the world tomorrow (God's Kingdom).

A teacher in this passing world needs to go through thorough training, like listening to lectures and taking examinations, to be a qualified teacher. To qualify for anything you have to thoroughly learn to do all that the field entails.

We, the chosen of God, are set apart (1 Peter 2:9-10 1 Peter 2:9-10 [9] But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light; [10] Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

) to be teachers in God's Kingdom to come.

What are we doing with the lectures (sermons and sermonettes) and our tests (trials)? Do we learn from the trials and tests of everyday life, instead of complaining about them?

Judgment has begun in God's Church (1 Peter 4:17 1 Peter 4:17For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
American King James Version×
), and some will fall away (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 [3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; [4] Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
American King James Version×
; 2 Timothy 4:3-4 2 Timothy 4:3-4 [3] For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; [4] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned to fables.
American King James Version×
) by whom the way of truth will be blasphemed (Mark 3:28-29 Mark 3:28-29 [28] Truly I say to you, All sins shall be forgiven to the sons of men, and blasphemies with which soever they shall blaspheme: [29] But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost has never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.
American King James Version×
; Hebrew 10:26-30).

God has been telling us not to be ignorant of Satan's devices, telling us that the trials (tests) we face, in our personal lives, as families and even as a Church, prepare us for our final examination (Matthew 24:9 Matthew 24:9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
American King James Version×
; Luke 21:12 Luke 21:12But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
American King James Version×
), after which our Lord Jesus Christ will descend from heaven to make us qualified teachers in His Kingdom!

Awake, brethren (1 Thessalonians 5:6-10 1 Thessalonians 5:6-10 [6] Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. [7] For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. [8] But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. [9] For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, [10] Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
American King James Version×
)! Be ready, for we are Christ's (2 Timothy 3:12 2 Timothy 3:12Yes, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
American King James Version×
) and must face our final examination soon!

Blessed are those who overcome (Revelation 2:7 Revelation 2:7He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said to the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the middle of the paradise of God.
American King James Version×
, 11, 17, 26; 3:5, 12, 21; 21:7) for their reward is with Him (Revelation 22:12-13 Revelation 22:12-13 [12] And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. [13] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
