Will someone there please, please talk to me..!!! Perhaps eight or ten years have passed since I last tried to find someone there who would help me, At that time I even went so far as to beg you as a brother in Christ for help, but was consistently ignored. I intend no harm to anyone, I wish to denigrate the teachings of no one and have consistently refused to go directly to the brethren with my concerns choosing not to bypass the ministry -- but what am I to do if those in the ministry refuse to talk to me..??? Today I went to the Church website and found at the top of a list two sermons the headings of which sum up the concern I have now borne silently for several decades: "Where there is no vision the people perish" -- The flaws which I believe exist in many of the doctrinal teachings of the ministry are indeed leading our brethren to destruction. "The truth shall make you free" seems to be a lost virtue within the ministry for they cannot, or simply refuse to even consider, that such flaws may actually exist. If I am wrong about any of this, then surely someone in the ministry can help me to understand. But not if they continue to ignore my pleas..!!! Alex Napier.

It has been more than ten years since I last read this message and I'm surprised you still haven't discovered the flaws in your teaching. I agree that this day heralds the return of Messiah, but you apparently have failed to take into account the difference between the return of Jesus as Messiah the Prince, and Jesus as King of kings. You must also consider the incarceration and subsequent release of Satan when he will then go out to gather all of the dissidents from throughout the world and bring them to Jerusalem to make war against Jesus and His brethren. You must also consider the final half of the seventieth week of Daniel's seventy-week prophecy during which Jesus must complete the confirmation of the new covenant by preparing His disciples of the end-time for the positions and duties they will be asked to perform during their 1,000 year reign . There are a few other very important points which I had hoped you would have considered by now and it disturbs me somewhat that apparently thus far no one at the United Church of God have bothered ... With respect: Alex Napier
