God's people are now in a time of waiting. We're waiting for God's next series of feast days to roll around next spring. This is the longest period between God's feast days. So, what is to be the focus for God's people, while we wait?

One day the disciples came to Jesus and they asked Him, "what will be the sign of your coming?" From this question, Jesus proceeds to let the disciples know that some time must pass before His return. He also told them what they need to watch out for, prior to His return.

Generally, when we lose someone to death we go through a period of mourning. In Matthew 5:4, Jesus tells us we're blessed if we're in a state of mourning and He tells us we'll be comforted.

In Matthew 5:3 Jesus tells us we're blessed if we live being "poor in spirit". Wouldn't it seem better for us to be "rich in spirit"? What does it look like to live your life "poor in spirit"?
