In his outstanding sermon, Dr. Ward indicts Bolshevism, Communism, Fascism, Progressivism, Secular Humanism & Neo Liberalism: All bringing mankind to the same destination: destruction & death! Mankind’s dilemma is trapped between counterfeit Christianity (Xmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter et al) and Neo Liberalism, a resurging form of Totalitarianism—Fascism, that promises everything for nothing. Buddhists are waiting for Buddha, Hindus for Krishna, Muslims for their 12th Mahdi, Jews for their Messiah & finally Christians are looking forward to the return of Jesus Christ with their counterfeit beliefs of having been ‘saved by Grace’ since Jesus, they reckon, ‘would have kept the law for us all.’ The Western nations of modern Israel have meanwhile turned justice into gall and the fruit of righteousness into wormwood (Amos 6:12.) The dilemma & real dichotomy to choose from is elementary to those who, upon repentance and obedience, have been granted God’s spiritual understanding: “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.” (Deu 30:19)

We are encouraged by Dr. Ward to pick up the sword of the spirit & go fight the good fight of faith; being fully persuaded that God has stored up for each & every one of us a crown of life. Wither we are going to wallow in the pits of self-pity or look up to the hills from where our spiritual strength comes from is our choice; wither we are going to encourage ourselves as David did as he was just about to be stoned to death because of Israel’s loss. No night & shining armor is going to pull us out of the pity pit or out of self-despair we have thrown ourselves into but The One Who is coming on a great white horse & currently sitting at the right Hand of God The Father; One Who Ever lives to make intercession for us & make our election sure! We are admonished to get our focus off ourselves and fight the good fight of faith & become encouragers. We are all in need of encouragement & we must look constantly to the source of strength and comfort. We must check if we are in tune with The Giver of every good & perfect gift: the Father of Light. What Satan fears most is a man on his knees. In Psa 145:17 we read that the Eternal is near to all who call upon Him in truth.

Our righteousness is just like filthy rags compared to the majesty of God. Peter Eddington reminds us here, through the inspired words of David*s Psalm 145, an amazing parallel to Mathew’s chapter six, that praising God is one of the ways we may acknowledge God’s Sovereignty above all living creatures (nephesh) including animal kingdom, angels. archangels, Satan the devil, and human beings the latest created in God’s Own Image. We ought to praise God as soon as we open our eyes and praise God before we close our eyes: Without God nothing exists and our breath of life would be limited to a blink of an eye when compared to God’s eternity, juxtaposing our physical life besides God’s (I am That I am) permanent existence found outside the perimeters of time, space and matter God-Elohim created in Gen 1:1. A mind blowing acknowledgement of us coming from dust and going back to dust without God’s mercy and incredible plan of redemption and salvation through our High Priest and Savior Jesus Christ. ..

Thank you to Mr. Pettry for gems of wisdom —When God give us a job, don't look at the size of the problem; look at The Size of Our God. —Humility is vital for a leader but if we only focus on our weaknesses we'll lose faith. —A leader must do what is right even if his supporters are fearful or even wrong. —God will give leaders encouragement when they need it. —Leaders focus on their mission despite of all the things going on around them including in the case of Gideon starting with a 32.000 army God reduced to 300 hundred men. —Leaders do not retaliate against small minded critics (Ephraimites were small minded critics but Gideon never retaliated against them at all: “Good job fellas hold the river and see you later!” Interesting to notice that Gideon could have started a civil war but didn't. God only backed up Gideon against the Medianites, Ishmaelites, the Amalekites so Gideon did not take the matter in his own hand. —Just like Gideon give God the credit & refuse power & wealth when it comes our way if it isn’t God’s will. —Great Leaders must at times turn down what God does not want them to do: usually has to do with power, wealth or/and some kind of prestige.

Human nature’s lust of the eyes/flesh & pride of life will never be justified by hiding ourselves from God, justifying ourselves or blaming others. Dr. Ward gives us the Godly remedy to fight our carnal human nature as summarized in Jas 4:1 “Where do wars & fights come in (G1722: en | inside within) us? Do they not come from our desires for pleasure that war in parts of our own human bodies? (G4196 Melos) We then become adulterers & adulteresses (Jas 1:4) thus double minded & committing idolatry & breaking God’s Law. How to replace our carnal human minds? Jas 4:8: Draw near to God | Cleanse our sinful hands | Purify our double-minded hearts | Lament mourn & weep | Turn laughter in mourning | Turn joy into gloom | Humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord & He will lift us up.” God is given us the power of His Holy Spirit to trade on serpents & scorpions & all the power of the enemy. We need to learn to live & enjoy today; not wishing our lives away hoping for a bright day: become a light today and drive out darkness.

Difference between spirit of error & truth: Dr. Ward takes us through the Apostle Peter’s conversion journey: an impetuous & petulant personality: the Apostle of hope. Following his conversion, Peter preached some of the most powerful sermons & spiritual material not only backing up the veracity of Christ being “I Am” but also Christ creator of all things & by Whom all things were created: visible & invisible as Paul writes in Colossians. Peter had the foreknowledge (from Christ) that he was to die crucified, upside down, but followed Christ anyhow while giving some of God’s most powerful spiritual witnesses (beside Christ), preaching & healing even with his mere shadow. We don’t wrestle against flesh & blood but against principalities, against powers & rulers of darkness, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Therefore Dr. Ward admonishes us not to fall by every wind of doctrine but to put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of Satan & his demons as our society runs towards the abysmal destruction caused by lawlessness & the ongoing onslaught of cultural Marxism striving to remove any trace of God’s authority & sovereignty upon mankind.

Dr. Ward admonishes us that “We are created physical humans, subject to sin and death; but after being called out of this world, not only God gives us the opportunity to contribute to our spiritual creation but as begotten sons & daughters of God requires of us our active participation. God’s Word convicts our mind and heart while urging us to surrender to Him all the way. We’re to become new spiritual creations and not assembly line Christians going through various stations and automatically expecting to be born of God without our active cooperation. Through our begettal via God’s Holy Spirit, our new mind must rule over the old mind that keeps showing its ugly face from under the water. If we refuse to obey God and continue to walk after the flesh we then make Christ the Minister of sin: God forbids! warns the Apostle Paul. God exhorts us to get our focus completely off ourselves, trust and obey Him, and let Him work in us. God will exalt us after self will have surrendered. We must ask God to mold and renew our minds, submit to Him and actively participate in our spiritual transformation until one day God may grant us eternal life as spirit beings born into the Family of God.

James, the point Dr. Ward makes, is the fact that KJV-bible translators could be misguiding naïve biblical readers because of the sheer technicality of the eccentric Greek grammar which includes 3 genders: masculine, feminine & neutral (just like the awkward German language.) In Greek, the word Comforter, Parakletos is masculine & there ain’t nothing James you can do about it; just like “der Geist” German & “l’esprit” French are also both masculine! No one is trying to point out here that everywhere you (James) take your human body your “James spirit” is walking beside you as “additional person!” Got it? The issue of gender Dr. Ward is raising here is to help typical monolingual Anglo-Saxon readers like yourself hopefully grasp the fact that some languages such as Greek have 3 genders thus this misguiding KJV translation giving Xtian neocons one additional argument for a trinitarian god: A doctrine totally opposed to the material Dr. Ward is here scholarly presenting. BTW James try a study of the Hebrew combination of both words “Holy + Spirit” (קודש| H6844 qodesh: Holy +רוח | H7307 ruach: spirit) you won’t even find one single entry in the whole Hebrew Bible. Dr. Ward scholarly gives biblical proof of our eschatological human rendezvous with God: what’s in store for those who love God & obey His Voice. After repentance, baptism, we’re begotten of God’s Holy Spirit & awaiting our resurrection into God*s Family as born Children of God: mankind’s ultimate destiny & why God created us in the first place. God & Christ set up a mind boggling preternatural plan of salvation incl. Christ’s ultimate Sacrifice for our lawlessness, opened the Door, upon repentance & obedience, to God’s Holy Spirit & God/Christ making their abobe in us until we’re born of God’s very essence: made of Spirit just as our Elderly Brother Jesus Christ is. Begettal & resurrection of Christ was/is God The Father, El Elyon, setting Christ up as King of kings above all nations with Theocratic rights: Firstborn among many brethren: If then the Holy Spirit of God the Father, who resurrected Christ from the dead, dwells in us, God, Who raised up Christ from the dead, will also make alive our mortal bodies by the same Holy Spirit that dwells in us; thus the next beginning of our incredible human potential, fully born of spirit into God’s family, will have been fully reached.

God’s Word reveals that judgment, mercy & faith stem from God’s immutable spiritual Law. One of Christ main missions will be soon to judge all nations with righteousness based on the ‘spiritual law of gravity’ or God’s Law or law of Liberty as described by James. God’s Word is the foundation of all knowledge & is to be equated to life & uprightness: two intrinsic co-essential traits of God’s & Christ’s Holy Character: both personifying & reflecting justice, mercy & faith. After taking both Gentiles & Jews to task, Paul concludes “All have sinned [Gentiles & Jews] & come short of the Glory of Christ.” Today, like in Noah’s time, evil prevails as never before: truth fails & those striving to depart from evil make themselves a prey. After repentance, acceptance of Christ’s Sacrifice, through faith & overcoming, God expects us to consider the heavier matters of His Law: judgment mercy & faith. Dr. Wards speaks about God’s mercy glorying over judgment since the penalty of our sin is taken away from us; but Dr. Ward soberly warns: “Law keeping with not, in its itself, justifies us, but failure to repent & to obey the Law of God will keep us from being justified on the other hand.”

Dr. Ward reminds us that that those worshiping God must worship him in Spirit & in truth. We are given God’s spirit after repentance, baptism & in faith accepting the sacrifice of Christ for our sins. If we love God we must keep His commandments; God & Christ will come & make their abode in us. God’s Spirit conforms us to the image of Christ: the firstborn among many brethren. Flesh & blood can’t inherit the Kingdom of God: a spiritual transformation is required & promised upon faithful obedience to God. Disciples argued who among them was the greatest while Christ introduced New Covenant Passover symbols, proving their lack of conversion yet to come. God is no respecter of person: His plan of salvation is both for Jews & Gentiles. Gospel is about repentance turning away from sin, & having them forgiven through the sacrifice of Christ. Repentance, forgiveness, mercy & justification, all inextricably linked to obedience. With Christ in us the old man can be crucified if we are led by the Holy Spirit. The penalty for our sin has been nailed to the stake by Christ’s Sacrifice: not God’s law: He that saith, I know him, & keeps not his commandments, is a liar & the truth is not in him.

Having our names written in the Book of Life & the book of Remembrance depends to a large degree on how we apply the immutable spiritual law of God from the book of Moses (book of the Law) in our lives. Moses, a type of Christ, was a very meek high priest & the intercessor of the Old Covenant praying for the ongoing idolatry & rebellion of the Children of Israel. We too have entered a covenant of sacrifice with God so that He might include our names in the Book of Life. Overcoming is one of the main themes in the Book of Revelation: a leitmotiv mentioned to each of the 7 churches: “He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment, [the righteousness of the saints] & I will not blot out his name out of the book of life.” As begotten children of God, it is Christ living in us Who overcomes the world & our sinful nature, thus our need not only to have faith in Him but to obey Him: “We see then how that by works a man is justified, & not by faith only .” Our names will only be written in the Book of Life if we repent of our sins, exercise faith in the sacrifice of Christ & continue to obey God’s immutable law that gives us the guideline to overcome our sinful nature.

Thanks to Dr. Ward for a great treasure-chest of scriptures. Keeping sin out of our lives: God’s comm& while abstaining from leaven & daily eating unleavened bread: a mere shadow & comm& of God, for our personal sanctification process. Days of Unleavened Bread mentioned 10 times in the Old Testament. Israel provoked God 10 times in the wilderness despite incredible miracles God performed was followed by a snake plague. How a brazen serpent on a pole prophesied Christ, the curse of the law in ours stead, was turned into an idol by the Israelites who carried it around 800 years! Don’t expect God to accept prayers in a state of idolatry; syncretism: the sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD. Beware of deception; the leaven of the Pharisees, smooth sayings instead of God’s truth & turning unto fables & lies! Stick to the spiritual trunk of the tree: Wash & immerse yourself daily with/in God’s Word. Christ the true Bread of life, the Truth & the Way. To obtain the Holy Spirit: Pray & ask God, read & study His Word & obey regardless: “It is the spirit that gives life; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I (Christ) speak unto you, they are spirit, & they are life.”

Ground & pillars: foundation upon which a structure is built. Are we pillars? Is our understanding shredded by false religion considerations, human reasoning & science’s empirical knowledge instead of relying on God’s Holy Spirit convicting us of sin? Dr. Ward’s anchors: Word of God, humility & obedience. Just as Christ was begotten by the Father, died for our sins & was resurrected from the dead as the First-Born, we as a royal priesthood are granted, by grace, the potential to enter God’s family as sons & daughters born of spirit. A staggering plan of salvation difficult to wrap our carnal minds around; Dr. Ward wants us to better grasp God’s purpose for man. A plan God & Christ have been working on, in perfect harmony, since the beginning of ages. Why? God & Christ want the joy of sharing with us their Divine Nature: The sheer vision that kept Christ going under the most preternatural ordeal ever been through: torture, agony, abandoned by God the Father & finally dying for our sins. Without Christ’s sacrifice we’d earn death. We are to become Holy just as God id, anchored in the truth & the veracity of God’s word, His gracious & loving purpose for each & every one of us.
