You're correct ... this day falls under the heading of the feasts of the Lord, along with the sabbath and the other holy days in Leviticus 23. As you state it is a day of spiritual feasting, but the point I was making is that this day is different. This day we are instructed to do no work, rather than no customary or servile work; this day is not called a feast day as we see in the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, the Feast of Trumpets and the Feast of Tabernacles. It is a day of rejoicing because we are looking forward to that time when the cause of sin is removed from the earth and all mankind will be reconciled to God.
