When we were baptized, we made a lifelong commitment to the Father and Jesus Christ. When we observe the Passover, we recognize the eternal commitment the Father and Christ made to us. We are reminded of this each year at Passover.

As we prepare for the Passover, we're told in 1 Cor. 11:27-31 to examine ourselves. How do we do this? We're going to look at three ways we can accomplish this self examination.

We all go through four stages in life: Preparation, Production, Providing, and Preserving. What does God say about this fourth stage with is the stage of the aged? We'll look at some biblical examples that shows the value God places on those who have reached "old" age.

Why are we here? For three reasons: to fellowship. because God commands us, and to learn. We look at the three levels of learning: by gaining knowledge, by doing what we know is right, and by teaching others.

Endurance is a quality that is going to have to be required by all of us as we near the end of this age. God's word speaks to this need in so many places and we need to have God's word encourage us in remaining faithful to the end.
