What is the worst thing that I have ever done, and were we really forgiven? We were born with human nature, and we can either succumb to it or learn to rule over it. But have we ever done anything that caused someone to loser their life? We did this to Christ, Who took our place on the cross.

If we could only see what we do not know. There are a few expressions in English we have, such as “out of sight, out of mind” or “just below the surface.” Most things have things going on that we cannot see, do not know, or cannot discern. This works in our spiritual life, also.

Today is all we have. We are not in tomorrow, nor in yesterday. We need to make the most of our day, today. However, we have so many benefits in today’s times, such as food, shelter, and plenteous goods, that people don’t need to rely on God. Do we rely on God for our needs?

There are sets of words that can only be one thing, or not that one thing, such as first and last. First can only first. If it weren’t first, it would second, third, or something else. Jesus stated, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” What is first in our heart?

We are instructed in Deuteronomy to not completely glean our fields, but to leave the remnants for those in need. How does this apply to us today?

We need to take a stand and remain faithful to God and to remain faithful to his way so that we do not become cold. "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold" - Matthew 24:12.

The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. Pentecost for Christians means that we go outside of our comfort zone and use whichever gifts the Holy Spirit has given us and go out and use them towards other people.
