I have been going through some very difficult times these past couple months. Mainly when it comes to the lust of the flesh. i,m afraid i have fallen short in this area lately, and His spirit is convicting me really hard, just like He did with Job. I am so thankful for the holy days, and the upcoming Passover, and days of unleavened bread. I appreciate your article very much, and it is just what i needed to hear now, and not 2 months from now. I Feel I must start my own self examination now, so that I won't drink of the cup in an unworthy manner come Passover. It is so easy to start being complacent in our lives, where we allow sin to start creeping in. Through His Holy days of the days of unleavened bread, we can get back to our first love, and what is most important in our lives. and that is to Focus on our great Creator God and His master plan of salvation. The Holy days help us in this journey.

great article Mr Mcneely. I had a similar situation with my older son years ago before i was in the church, and i have been experiencing this same situation with my younger son for a little over a year now. I have been talking with my local pastor about this and he recommend that I read this parable. Finally last night my younger son contacted me and said he was ready to come home because he couldn't live the life he has been living for the past year anymore. I found this article of yours, and I just wanted to say thank you for your break down of this parable, and how i can, in my own words talk to both of my sons today, with better understanding, because of your article. God Bless

For the last year or so, in my prayers I ask God to keep blessing America if not for anything else but for the remnant of people who still obey him and keep his commandments. After hearing of this decision it was hard for me to ask for a continued blessing from God for our country but we must keep asking for Gods blessing of this country we have grown to love so dearly. I think of the story of Lot and how God promised Abraham that he would not destroy the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah if he could find but ten righteous. I think of when Judah was conquered by the Babylonians but God told Jeremiah to tell Johanan and the remnant that if they would do as He commanded and not to flee to Egypt that he would lift them up and take care of them. We who obey God should be comforted to know that no matter how far our government and people stray further and further from God, that he will show us mercy, and protect us from the judgment that is sure to fall on this country for its iniquities.
I'm trying to find out what the cost would be to dig a well for the country of Kenya. I saw your article on the 20 years of service with life nets, so this is why I'm reaching out to you with this inquiry.
