    Great Sermon !

Interjection here people. As a member of the United Church of God, I stand by what the Church believes about this. But we also should present these things as a Bible Study to the Church instead of sermonette to be broadcasted as such. . The Cross has had an ugly history and can be proven. But should we white wash the word "Cross" out of the Bible. Do we cut and paste our belief about the pagan origins of the word cross into what the Cross should mean to us.? The Original word is "Stauros" or upright pale. Can we teach about the "Pale" to the world when the world won't understand what we say. I think a better approach on this should have been handled instead of this going out into the world. How are we to take up the Stake and follow Christ? The scriptures says to "crucify the flesh." Although what Mr. Bell said is true, but we can't change what is already in the Bible. The word is "Cross"! But we don't worship it. It's a life that we have to bear to take up and show the world that we have to bear all things for Christ. Our flesh means nothing. Being a Son of the Living God is the ultimate purpose for all.

Great Bible Study. I love the Truth of God. This is one of the Greatest Truths that God's Church has. Thank you very much Mr. Stiver for this explaining the Mystery of the Case of the Three Resurrections.

Steve Buchanan also had a great Sermon about this not too long ago, and like yours it was great. I will never forget listening to Gerald Waterhouse in a 4 to 5 hour lecture and his many theories about how much cases of toilet paper we needed to take and a defective 777 we were going to fly on that would saved by an angel to take us to Petra. Thanks for the Sermon. It was great

Really enjoy, the online version that we might comment on these articles.
In lieu of this Article, yes, we must sigh and cry. Even Abraham sighed and cried for Sodom and Gomorrah, in Genesis 18. 22-32 . He gave us the attitude if there is so many here and there, we must pray that there are righteous in a certain area and that God would spare them. Also in Luke 13 when the 18 people who died at the Tower of Siloam, Christ asked "Were they the worst sinners in Jerusalem?" He says "unless we repent, we will perish also." We can't have the attitude of destroy the wicked and spare us of the evil around us, if we have an evil heart." Thanks again of this article. We need to be reminded of this on a constant basis.

Great Article Melanie, it's so good to have a balanced way of handling things like this. We know that it isn't up to us to force our ideas but to just state what we believe and let God take care of it. We also know that our families are not pagans. They are honest in what they believe. It will be great to see my parents in God's Kingdom of these days and they will be taught the truth about things. We need to be an example of God's truth not judges. God will take care of this in his own time.
