When America was founded, it brought about the concept of man having freedom. But it lost the true freedom of which we all share. Mankind is bent on destruction of each other. America was to become a bastion of freedom for all, despite ethnic divisions, or religious reasons. And in a sense that concept became really the destruction for America. It was bound to happen.

It brought about those who really wanted freedom eventually from a tyrannical government. Our early founding fathers realized that there was an unseen hand guiding our founding fathers to forge a new nation. But some of those fathers lost that concept. They saw it was a manifest destiny that was put out for them to forge across this land from sea to shi

We are the begotten sons of God that will be born in the Kingdom of God.

    This is so true.

One thing that caught my eye was the Title. "As Christians, what lost causes of men do we hold onto that are contrary to God's coming Kingdom?"

Was America a lost cause, or was there a divine purpose for her for all mankind to know and to understand that it is He who makes Kingdoms and Destroys them. That He plants and uproots nations and tears down. Our nation was forged in freedom but not freedom from Law but Freedom by Law. And how we have come away from those principles.

Yes one of these days all of this will be like the Movie "Gone with the Wind". All the wars, hatreds, man's inhumanity to man caused by Satan, will be all over. He is the culprit of all that we see, he is no scape goat, he is the causer of all that we see that is happening.

All three of my great grandfather's fought for the Confederacy. I have found all the particulars. One fought in North Carolina, another one fought in Morgan's Raiders, and the other was my name sake in Texas. He even wrote about the sad state of affairs just like his half brother did when they served in the same unit. Both of them said that the Civil War wasn't very "Civil"! What most people don't realize that all the wars since the beginning have been satanicly brought about. Read Daniel 10-11 about Michael warring with another Spirit But what most people don't know it was a Rich man's War and poor man's fight on both sides. Both sides had faults. This whole thing will bring down the USA. I use to think that
what we are told years ago was the way it was going to happen. But i personally think (my opinion) that anything will spark another form of hatred, whether it is the Confederate Flag, A Rebel Belt Buckle, or what not. I Cry because my beloved Country is coming to it's death bed. if you are watching world news, Don't make rash judgments based upon prejudices and bigotries of the past.

I hope and pray that our Eternal God will have mercy on all of us

i find this very disturbing. The problem was not the Flag. It was a man who was both emotionally disturbed and probably was on drugs and more than likely with his bugged eyes, was either Satanicly influenced or possessed. If you notice that it has sparked more than the flag situation. Others are starting a class and racial hatred because of one man's demonic heart.

This will probably spark something bigger here in the USA and the destruction of the USA. John Brown was the spark it needed to spark the Civil War. I am saddened to see that the blame has been placed on an inanimate object than the perpetrator. I also am a great grandson of 3 great grandfather's who fought in that terrible war.

I keep praying each and every day that our Father will have mercy on us and spare us total destruction. But I find that we are doing it to ourselves.

Thank you for your heart felt conviction about this.

Personally, when we see these so-called Biblical Movies with someone other than Brethren, make sure you have your Bible with you. For example, the current one is A.D. The Bible Continues. The last of the series showed the Disciples on Pentecost having a screaming prayer of the Lord's Prayer over and over. Is it in the Bible? NO. We need to prove to others, when they ask us about this, whether or not this is true. If we are complacent then we can't blame anyone else but ourselves for letting anyone being deceived. They have to make up their own minds but we still need to be there for them
